Cork city traffic warden bikes

Just caught a glimpse of a warden on a new what looked like a bmw gs. And I thought to myself that it was a fairly big expensive bike to be tipping around the city on. Would they be 15k+ a pop? The boom is back baby. Wouldn't a gn125 @ 2.2k do the job and probably a better jobðŸ˜‚

They're driving them a few years now.. I guess its more from a comfort point of view.
