Tax renewal cost

Maybe I missed an email or something....but my annual tax went from 750 to 790 this year - just did the renewal tonight.

Has there been a change in the tax calculations based on something I'm not aware of - seeing as I've been living in a cave for the last 12 months

Bad state of affairs when my tax is nearly twice my insurance...

When did this come in? - I read the whole article and they never tell when the increases are to be introduced??

It was from January 1st this year.

It was announced in the budget last October and like most budget motor tax changes they come into effect on the following January 1st.
