For almost 8 weeks this year we heard about how much the teachers wanted the kids back, how missing real school could be detrimental for their future education etc, how they were working night and day for the planning to return to school - and then 4 weeks later ( 2 in the case of kids from 3rd class up ) our kids get a well earned half day before they start their 2 weeks easter holidays

what a fleckin joke. If one thing Covid 19 has thought me is teachers are even more a lazy bunch of work shy layabouts than I thought.

how can these people hold their head up and look the working people of Ireland in the eye and say they did their bit ?

Is it the half day or the two weeks your not happy with?

They were all teaching during the lockdown. I'm sure most find normal classroom teaching easier than the remote stuff they had to do.

    I'm not a teacher btw...
