    Looking forward to this.

Bonus point and at least a 21 point margin of victory needed for France to grab the title - I'm just not seeing it. Scotland looking to finish on a high too.

Scotland having Hastings on the bench could potentially be a curse for the French if Russell comes off early, will make it a lot harder for them compared to a vintage Russell flop in the dying minutes.

Hastings warming up before entering the field......

Both teams want to win, Scotland probably don't care how, France by a big margin, should be a great contest.

I reckon the French will get the 21 point margin.

I think 21 points is a big ask. I reckon France will win by between 15 and 20 points.

France can easily run up a score but can they play for 80 minutes? A cheap try or two for Scotland could kill them.

France. Ntamack to channel his DC Lions 2001 and MOTM.

If it was 2005, he'd be a whole lot better!

The older Rafa Ibanez gets, the more he reminds me of Richard Burton.

They played 80 last week. The short turnaround could impact that though.

France to win by between 10-15 points I’d say.

Scottish anthem is nothing without a crowd belting it out in Murrayfield/Hamden Park.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

The weather could throw a real spanner in the works.

Nice of them to record one of those crowds shouting “bastards” so all the same.

They also need points. Build a lead against the Scots and then the tries will come

    Mental decision

In that weather, they may not get so many opportunities.

Agree, need to get a lead and then run riot

The added element of rain coming down on the pitch tonight may change things to maybe make it a level playing field among both teams. I think there was rain involved with the last 2020 6N game between France & Ireland with France winning that game because they were the stronger team on the night. I think France will still win this game against Scotland. They are doing their job well with that great scrum near the posts & getting the 3 points. I think it will be a great result for the French if they buckle down getting the points for winning the championship.

    Virgin media 2

    And BBC 1.

Disappointed in the French lineout, though they would have done a job like we did

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

    Fickou already up for it.
Thought Alldritt legitmately had hands on ball.

Does anyone know who is the french guy is on the bbc commentary?

Dont know what that penalty was for, player was legally over the ball - wasn't the tackler.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,635 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

    Scotland have try #1.

  • Subscribers Posts: 42,171 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

    Never a try

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

    Double movement surely.

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 8,353 ✭✭✭fitz

Think that's a clear double movement, no?

Try looked like a double movement, looked like he reached out before the try. Hmm need a new system that will let me do my own slow motion

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Good job this is drawing to a close tonight, the officials and TMOs have not had a good tournament.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

Not even playing and the decisions go wales’ way

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,635 ✭✭✭dublinman1990

The camera angle does appear to indicate a double movement. But it wasn't clear on the last replay.

Wayne "Best Ref in the world" Barnes.

He's just making up the rules as he goes along at this point.

    Good from Russell

    Now Scots have a penalty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,000 ✭✭✭randomname2005

On the body nowhere near the ball.
Given for squeeze ball but have seen tons of them not given this tournament

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,947 ✭✭✭✭Beechwoodspark

Murray should try that every so often for ireland

Was that not a knock on at the scrum, dropped the ball on top ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,261 ✭✭✭OldRio

Barnes and the French? I wonder.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,738 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Scottish player never got close to getting his hands on the ball, French player had barely hit the deck before he poached on the body.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,421 ✭✭✭jammiedodgers

    Some kick

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,573 ✭✭✭✭ednwireland

Is he not the tackler there - complete opposite decision to a few minutes ago that was a penalty.
