What do you think will happen if there is not a United Ireland but Catholics become a majority in the six counties?
Unionists are already struggling badly with their loss of power, but how will they react if they’re stuck as a minority in a small province faced with a majority they used to keep power from? I’d say they wouldn’t like it at all.

Firstly I think you need to get your terminology right.

    Catholic does not mean Nationalist.

Secondly I agree they would not like it at all, that's why the slow errosion their power is so difficult for them.

All we can hope for is that no one hell bent on making amends for the past comes to power and persecutes it's generation of unionists for the faults of previous generations.

Nobody lost any power. Stormont is a power sharing government.

I’ve seen roots of that in the SDLP. They used to be a more moderate party until recently.
