Having recently built an extension to my house and with all the plumbing replaced with a new system I now have a timer with 4 pumps and 4 zones. I have, upstairs radiators, downstairs radiators, underfloor heating and hot water cylinder. Each zone has an individual timer. Can someone please tell me the function of the hot…

Having recently built an extension to my house and with all the plumbing replaced with a new system I now have a timer with 4 pumps and 4 zones. I have, upstairs radiators, downstairs radiators, underfloor heating and hot water cylinder. Each zone has an individual timer.

Can someone please tell me the function of the hot water cylinder pump.
