Repainting metal cart

    We have inherited one of these:

    It's handy to have, but the beige colour doesn't match anywhere we might want to put it. It's made out of metal and the bottom of the drawers is also a kind of metal grid, as opposed to being solid. Is it possible to repaint something like this, and can you recommend a type of paint for it? It may live in the bathroom so should be able to withstand some humidity and moisture in the air, if possible.

    It's probably powder coated.

    Give it a very good sand with 180 or 240, make sure you get into all the nooks and crannies and then give it a coat of primer, then finish it with gloss or satinwood, depending on the sheen you want.
