    Morning everyone,

We have a 36' faith and ethan wall mounted headboard that needs to be put on the wall.

There are 3 pieces of wood horizontally across the back of the headboard. 2 towards the top and one at the bottom. We're wondering if one of the piece of wood is meant to be taken off the headboard and screwed to the wall to act as a clear to sit the headboard on.

Has anyone hung one of these or have any pearls of wisdom to impart? I can't upload pictures for some reason, sorry.

Don't know. Check if either of the top pieces are grooved for one to slot into the other, ie one screws to the wall and the other sits on it. The bottom one is probably to maintain distance overall the headboard from the wall.

If all fails you could try a couple of these:

    Flush mounters

I don't know how good they are but I have a set which I have been meaning to use. It's kinda one of those jobs I keep putting off!

Thanks a million. I've managed to attach picture. Yes one of the wooden bars is slanted so maybe that one needs to be taken off the headboard and put on the wall, there are only 3 screws holding it onto the back whereas the other one at the top had about 6 screws.

Makes sense what you've said about the bottom one.

    Thanks a million 😊

I have made a couple of these headboards, though I usually use dowels to drop into matching holes - simply because cutting a slant like that is too much of a problems for me. However I suggest you put a bit of padding of some sort on the bottom strips, almost anything will do, thick fabric, foam, whatever. Not too thick or it will not lie straight. This will stop it clattering on the wall and stop it damaging the wall.

Deadly, thanks I never thought of that. But the dowels... Genius I reckon! That would make it so easy and self explanatory.
