vodafone gigabox replacement recommendation

    hi,

    i'm looking to replace the vodafone gigabox for better wifi speeds, could you please recommend a sub €60 router that has vlan tag and gigabit lan .

    currently looking at a tplink Archer C6 AC1200 on amazon, will it do the job !

    867 Mb (Signaling rate, not real speed) vs 1733Mb you already have.


    The ISPs get for €5 what youll spend €60-80 retail on. Chances are most units at your price point are a sidegrade. A C7 might be slightly better but at €80 its not really worth it for a tiny step forward.

    I'm currently using 2 devices, vodafone gigabox + an old tplink c2 . when used on its own the gigabox wifi is ridiculously horrible to say the least, it swings so much so often, 1 moment is 150mbps the next is only 2mbps, but the tp link it is stable at above 150mpbs never lower. lan speeds are good on both devices.

    what im trying to do is to use only one device the c2 cant be used on its own as its doesn't have vlan tag feature. this is the reason why im trying to find a different router.
