Mould on car seat

I've a 2015 Golf. Between being on maternity leave the past 6 months and lockdown the car hasn't been used as much as before.

There's been a dampish smell in it the past few months but as I have a dog who has been in the car from time to time and would have been wet I assumed this was the smell.

Anyway I decided to give the car a good clean yesterday and when I was taking out the baby car seat base I noticed it was wet at the back and when I removed it there was mould on the seat underneath.

I assume this is from the car not running much? I have the boot cover off all the time to fit the buggy if that makes any difference. Just a bit worried with mould and a baby...
