Damp wall in bathroom

I’m wondering what might be causing this problem. After having a bath the condensation in the room has shown up a colour difference in the wall. Top part dry and the bottom part damp to touch. The wall is dry from ceiling to about 10cm from top of window the there is a visible line where the wet starts. I am thinking maybe a problem with the gutter outside but haven’t a clue really! Wall is a cavity wall. Has anyone any ideas what it might be?

Install a fan to get out moisture

Thanks for the reply, there is a fan in the room and we open the window too. I am not sure what you mean by the last line.

More than likely a bridged lintel above the window ope. Any pics? I'm guessing the problem is worse during colder weather?. Was the cavity pumper recently?
Solution would be either to better heat & ventilate the space or install proper detailed external insulation.
