I recently bought a 2019 with 56k miles and was not concerned. The car has been serviced religiously at main dealers and there is not a mark on the exterior or interior.
If the car is priced well then I would not see an issue.

Seems expensive to me. If it's the black Avant then the only extras I can see on it are the virtual cockpit and rear privacy glass, everything else looks a fairly standard manual A4 S Line on it. I wouldn't be paying over the top for it based on that.

How long do you plan to keep the car and what's your annual mileage? If your doing average enough mileage then that car will have 100k or more miles on it in 2 years time and it's resale value will reflect that irrespective of what few extras it has.

Sounds like a petrol car would be more suitable to be honest.

Agreed 7k a year could lead to dpf and egr problems with such short journeys.

I bought a 181 a4 petrol in liffey valley opel in Dec.Traded in 16 highline passat as my mileage due to work will be in region of 15 k km .It definitely has ideal engine for local driving -mpg is about 42mpg there and it averaged 49mpg on 2 different motorway trips in jan.Car is faultless so far and came with 21k km on clock so id say the petrol would be an option for you.
