Oil in spark plugs

    Hi all,
    Have a 2006 Volvo S40 1.6 petrol.
Changed the plugs yesterday and noticed there was a small bit of oil on the threads of 2 of the plugs.
Having a look inside where they sit and there is a slight stain going from the top to where the plugs sit. Touching this ,it feels dry but obviously there shouldn't be any stain inside here. I'm assuming it's the rocker gasket that needs replacing.
Anyone experience changing this on this engine? Looks easy to do but do people use aftermarket gaskets or genuine. Getting mixed thoughts searching online.
Genuine is €45 and aftermarket can be about €10!!!

Haven't done one on that car but I'd say you're right about the rocket cover gasket being at fault. Oil in spark plug wells is a good indication of it. I'd get the aftermarket part they're probably the same piece of rubber with different manufacturers on them. I'd pick up some RTV gasket maker with oil resistance also for added protection. You should get spark plug well seals with the rocker cover gasket, usually included in the kit
