So,this morning in a rush for school, I flung two bags into the boot of my Skoda Octavia (2019). But when we got to school,I couldn't open the boot. Pulled down the back seat to get access and saw that one of the straps from a schoolbag was jammed in the boot lock. Pulled at it,strap ripped off bag but is still jammed there!! Is there a quick release mechanism to unlock it?Or any other advice?

Idk really, but since it's already ripped off the bag, could you get a strong kitchen shears and cut up the middle of the strap, then pull it apart when you get to the lock?

Know what you mean. Someone will know for sure and be along to help in no time I bet. Best of luck with it!

Should be in your manual tho also, wouldn't it? Just in case you don't get replies in time

Thanks. I got it open, pressed unlock on key fob and pulled it up hard... It released.
