That’s why Heyman and Bischoff never last.

Nearly a decade later, what was it Punk said, the wheel's going to keep on turning, and Vince is going to make money despite himself and that he's surrounded by nonsensical glad handed yes men who'll tell him everything he wants to hear.

Lo and behold, Punk was bang on the money to a degree.

Is that permanent changes or does it include cover for ones missing?

22 different teams and lets be honest, no one would notice as they all talk the same, spew the same garbage..... all soulless regardless of which robot doe s it.

Graves is the only guy who stood out for me, and he's even a shell of what he was on NXT.

Whether you like Mauro or not, I enjoyed his WWE run because, well he was different.

Flawed as he was, he sounded like someone who was watching a match and calling it. Same with JR, despite his flaws he sounds like a commentator.
WWE announcers now sound exactly like they do in 2K games, just repeating the same corporate approved catchphrases and stock lines

Cant help but argree. Yes JR is a shadow of his former self, and its cringy at times, but hes still much easier to listen to than Michael Cole, Tom Phillips or Byron shouting "Head of the Table" , "The Viper" or "Boss Time" every 30 seconds.

Say what you will about JR, who did the same when he was in WWE, but he made it seem natural.

What is that about? Why are they so insistent on tinkering with all the little nothings but ignoring the major, fundamental problems the product has?

    Surprised by that

Charlotte to win or Rhea to interrupt?

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,753 ✭✭✭✭beakerjoe

Neither of thise matches appeal to me.

That said most WWE tv matches are souless, the odd rare kne can be great.

    Very rare rho.

I'm guessing Braun had to drop out tonight if Orton has a match with Riddle

Nope. Last minute change of plans by Vince.

Imagine advertising a match as the first time ever then changing it at the last minute. That senile old man shouldn’t be left anywhere near a script.

Even reading the raw results this morning was painful. Someone put the old dog out of its misery.

  • Registered Users Posts: 28,794 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

So who calls Charlotte "The Opportunity"?
Now to see if she gets punished at all.

That tag match was just a way to unmask the guys? Now to see if they keep the names. Noticed they weren't identified by the commentators.

During the April 19 edition of Raw Talk, WWE Official Adam Pearce broke the news that Charlotte Flair has been indefinitely suspended and fined $100,000 for her un-professional conduct on Monday Night Raw, as well as physically abusing an official. She is currently being escorted from the building.

Was trying to remember who the Raw tag champs were but ended up googling. I know my memory sucks, but is there a reason AJ and Omos haven't appeared since?

  • Registered Users Posts: 773 ✭✭✭TimesArrow

They are simply unable to book baby faces.. Drew, strowman and new day are such annoying painfully unfunny knobs

Wasn’t it Randy v Braun that was advertised? Meh who cares

Because they only planned as far as Mania and giving Omos his moment, and forgot they had to do stuff after. The fact AJ just became Grand Slam Champ also glossed over by there non appearance!

Had seen Retribution were unmasked before watching, and was hoping they would be referred to as old names; but the fact the commentators didnt mention it, I hold out much hope!

I'd be amazed if Dominic Dijakovic got to keep his name.

Best thing about Raw was the tease that Nia and Shayna will split. Unfortunately we know which of those will get the push afterwards

Just noticed that as well, so much for that line Vince use to pedal about delivering on advertised matches/appearances.

I'm not a fan of Xavier Woods, just something woefully disingenuous about him.
