We have a 14 reg Case Farmall 115U. Both radio speakers blown at this stage. I want to DIY replace but nervous about messing roof trim. Has anyone ever replaced on this tractor or related model. NH T5 could be similar.

Speakers are above/behind driver seat. I'll need to remove them to check size before purchasing new ones. Guessing I should be able to remove enough trim from the back to get at them.

While I haven’t replaced speakers on those machines is there screws on the front of the speakers?

Usually there is on the bezel of the speaker.

Removing upholstery should not be required usually

Speaker grille can be removed but speakers are larger than the hole in trim.

It may so be a case of removing roof skin

Having not replaced them I’ll let someone else who may have answer

    Discussion about it here

I got this sorted quite easily in the end. Roof liner was flexible enough to pull down at the rear frame without any ripping at pillars. New speakers and a new radio later and all is great.
