Outside walls - Algae ?

    There is a small algae accumulation on the side of the house. Its only on a small portion but its basically coming out from the box where the meters are. Rain run off has progressed it that it looks bad.

    What is the best treatment/solution for stopping it - without discolouring the facade.

    lime and a power wash. Needs doing a couple times a year.

    Thanks. I won't chance power washing it as its too close to the ESB meter outdoor cabinet. Scrub it with a brush instead.

    Scrub in a strong bleech solution and leave for a few hours then rinse off.
