Hi, I’ve recently bought a 2012 Toyota Avensis and the touchscreen isn’t working on it. Can’t pair my phone on it for Bluetooth, so a bit of a pain in the arse. The options come up on the screen but nothing happens when I press anything. Anyone know if it’s a quick fix, or as expected, Toyota will prob charge me a fortune.....

Can’t select anything on the touchscreen with them. Toyota quoted me €800 today to replace it🀣🀣

I wonder would it do any good to pull the radio fuse for an hour and put it back as a way to hard reset it.

It's unlikely it will work but worth a shot before shelling out 800 sheets

The €800 won’t be happening either way. I will try that on the weekend. Worth a try, thanks

Aw man that's a killer, touchscreen ones would be rare enough reducing your chances of getting one from a breakers. I know there are companies in the UK repairing the Sony ones in Fords maybe there might be someone could do the same for the Avensis. Failing that would a replacement radio with the correct connectors work? Dare I mention it but Halfords might have something.
