See some car ads and the seller puts a womans name in the contact details. Or one woman owner and you ring then its a man who answers. Whats the story with this. I know its a thing with years but has anyone ever questioned a seller to speek with the lady owner. What sh1t or excuse have they come up with when you pull them up on it.

Pretty common thing to see on the basis that they believe people who see a car with a woman seller will think its better looked after and has lower mileage (clocked cars commonly have this).

Could also be legit reason that the woman who owns there car is asking someone to deal with callers on her behalf but usually that's the minority of them.

Just ask to speak to the seller, if the guy who answers refuses or gives some lame excuse, hang up and leave it at that.

I know the reason its done, just wondering has anyone ever pulled up the seller on it - and what were some of the daft excuses given.

I wouldn't buy a car off a woman and I can tell you for a fact that one careful owner woman careful owner I might add means the car only gets checked when there is a loud bang ora smell coming from somewhere....

My sister done near 50k in her fiesta without ever getting it serviced, the oils was below minimum when I checked, she traded it in then....

My sister the same...only when car causes problems does she go anywhere near a mechanic. Ladies in work are similar.
