Wouldn't say I was the romantic type probably nip down and get a box of chocolates and a bunch of flowers, kids are cooking a three course dinner for us this eve that will be fun. Seen a few bits on the telly yesterday about love on the farm and match making years ago and the dowry and how it all worked, interesting times you send your ould fellow off to find a wife and what she can bring in to the place. I found my own wife 20 odd years ago now and she came with a 3K credit card bill, but well worth every penny.
Nice farming couple on nation wide last night, she was from Australia well worth a watch on the player.

What programme was about the match making and dowry? That’d be interesting
