    Any recommendations??

I'm looking for an online version of the traditional "motor factors"...

Got a variety of engines I work on from strimmers.chainsaws to tractors, generators and cars...

What i need is somewhere that sells tools like sockets, spanners, etc as well as general parts like spark plugs, hoses, etc

Problem with a lot of sites is they wont let you browse their catalogue until you put in your reg or model - which isn't really applicable if its a spark plug for a generator.

Now that we're post-brexit it would need to be somewhere with hassle free delivery within eu.

I may have answered my own question..... micksgarage.com - they seem to do just about everything at reasonable prices!

I find Micksgarage are good for the other miscellaneous items. Other than that I use IrishAutoParts or EuroCarParts

If I am looking for tools I go to say Teng tools website for a example, download their catalogue and find the product I want and then it will always have a product number listed with it , I plug that into eBay or Amazon and buy that way.

It's the easiest way to find the cheapest price of exactly what you want. Mick's garage doesn't stock decent tools I don't think.

That's a good idea, I may start doing that!

Autodoc.de is excellent for everything but €30 set price shipping makes it only useful for higher priced items. Even with the €30 shipping if you need a set of shocks or similar the savings can be massive.
You can see the profits micksgarage and the like make when you see what Autodoc are able to sell items for.

Also Amazon.co.uk is good for oil and service items if you have prime and choose items sold and fulfilled by Amazon or items costing less than €22 including shipping.

For delivery from outside Ireland, that's a great price.

I've used Micks Garage several times until December. I ordered some toy tools from them for my son for Christmas. What they sent was out of the packaging and damaged.

I emailed them and they requested pictures, which I sent to them. Since then, they have ignored all contact. Pathetic customer service. I won't be back.

V surprised tbh, did you physically talk to them?
They really went out of their way to sort me last year including ringing me back twice
(they initially sent me the wrong part)
Ring them I bet they'll sort you

Has anyone any experience of buying from https://www.oemvwshop.com/ ?

I placed an order for a part and paid through Paypal, I received no Paypal confirmation email/receipt at the time of purchase, so I logged into Paypal and saw that the transaction was logged and the funds were in the state of 'Authorized'. I thought then that maybe once the part was sourced and/or despatched, the payment would be taken from the account, so let it go at that. At this point all I'd received from the seller at the time of purchase was a 'Support Request' (whatever that means).

The transaction has since moved to paid and the funds have been drawn from my bank account with still no further notification from either the seller or Paypal. It's all a bit strange to me...

EDIT: Have had an email now saying they'll have part by the end of the week and will send tracking details when sent. They're cheaper then what I've seen around for VAG stuff :)
