Anyone watch this new series? Only the first episode

    Some harrowing viewing

I know it's UK based but the amount of suspected perpetrators is unreal - makes you wonder how many are here in Ireland

Truly sickening stuff - I just could not imagine

But the work that the police force does to identify them is amazing

It was sickening to see them in the kids' chat room - and selling pictures of their own kids? Jesus. I don't know how that woman towards the end who has to watch the videos does her job.
Harrowing stuff. Frightening to think how many of them there might be here, carrying on unchecked.

You could see the distress on the female detectives face looking at that stuff - I don't think I could do that day in and day out. One day and I'd be like no thanks

Reality being England/Ireland - there is a lot of cross border stuff going on I would imagine

Very tough watch. Hopefully they arrest some of the bigger fish.

Watched the last 20 minutes. Unreal. Fair play to the officers. Not an easy job detail. There are some truly disgusting and nasty people out there. For all the uses the internet has its a horrible place in the corners.

The first one they showed fitted the stereotype all right, a grubby slob of a man but the second lad looked like an ordinary well educated middle class guy.

I hope they are able to catch the people who make the videos.

It was like watching bullies picking on the weak the way they talked about those kids, I'm sure it makes them feel better about themselves in some way even if it's a pathetic way. The second more " normal " guy clearly hated himself for liking what he’s into. Kinda difficult to watch him fight it, maybe he was molested himself as a child and it stems from that.

Amazing work by the police in targeting these guys to get them the help they need and more importantly taking away from society so they aren't a danger to innocent lives.

Would never watch this as I could not withstand it. But it makes one think that in order for this evil activity to be profitable there must be a very large audience who want it. Which, in my mind, is one of the most depressing things in the world to have to contemplate.

there's only one way to help scum like that and its to let them swing from a rope, that won't happen though unfortunately so they should be locked up for life.

Reporter....How much jail time will he get......Police Officer.... None.

You could see the frustration and rage in her when she answered that.

    Justice systems are fcuked.

    Another excellent episode

Thought the Andrew one was a particularly odious character - and only got 3 years!

    Castration should be a thing
