Getting cabling from outside into new build

Can anybody please explain the layers I’m likely to find between the render or brick on the outside and the inside attic or inside the living room for example?

It’s an a2 rated new build but I’m just curious on what is required to get cabling into the house for the likes of sky, or to get camera cables through and possibly up to the attic within the wall. I was thinking of running some
Cabling so sky or virgin don’t just stick a cable through wherever.

Is drilling straight through with an sds bit from the outside a bad practice in terms of the water membrane? Or is it best to drill halfway through from outside and then halfway from inside?

Is there still a cavity within the wall to feed cables upward or is it likely to be filled with insulation?

    Cheers

Is it a block build or a timber frame?
Do you have solid wall inside or plasterboard?

I believe it’s block built with plasterboard walls on the inside. Attached is the barebones structure

Looks like partial file cavity board installed so
    Initial structure will be
    brick,l outer
    free cavity 40 to 50mm
    Insulation board in cavity
    Inner block
    Inner plaster.

If you have a plasterboard finish, you likely have
    Battens and plasterboard internally or
Insulated board fixed tight to wall.

I wouldnt really have too much concern re drilling this type of build.
A timber frame build for example would have more complex layers.

Thanks Mick. Is it reasonable to think you could fish cables up through cavity and into the attic then? And also, assuming a drip loop on the outside and a bit of silicone it’s reasonable to feed satellite cables or the like straight through to the attic or inside? Is there anything I need to do to seal the moisture membrane?
