I have recently recieved a summons resulting from failure to pay fixed charge notices after being charged with driving without due care and attention. I was pulled by gardaí for speeding on a roundabout but i have dashcam footage which proves otherwise. Has anyone any experience with using dashcam footage in court to prove innocence or any idea whether it will even be accepted for review?

It may well be accepted as evidence in the district court. But seek the advice of a solicitor practising in the area where this is to be heard. He/she will have a good idea of how your footage is likely to be received by the court.

Note, you may have a limited final period remaining to pay a charge and avoid a court appearance, so act now.
