    Can stream using UK VPN on phone

    It works on my Alexa and the myTuner radio app.

    It is broadcast on the Astra satellite, same that Sky uses.

    It is also available on the Radio Garden app. Search for Virgin Radio and select the one with "London, United Kingdom" displayed underneath. They refer to it as "Virgin Radio on Demand" so I don't know if that is slightly different - still has presenters.

    I can get all the radio stations when I took out my sky box and put the satellite cable into the tv and did a scan.

    OP, I Googled 'virgin radio uk', got their website www.virginradio.co.uk clicked on 'listen live' and it's playing on my mobile. I don't have VPN s/w or similar so you can stream it no bother on any device by the looks of it i.e. it's not geoblocked.

    Question was more to play radio station on Alexa

    I usually have to say play on Tune In but its Geo locked on this so Alexa would not play it

    Just asked to play Virgin Radio UK, with out saying TuneIn, and it worked saying playing Virgin Radio UK on Wireless

    Funnily enough it plays distorted (bubbly distortion) on my older Roberts internet radio downstairs but plays fine on my Roberts Streamtime upstairs??

    Same problem here, bubbly on my Logik IR100 but fine on the Roberts Stream 93i.Talksport and Talkradio are the same.

    I’m enjoying Graham Norton’s show on Virgin, a lot better than his radio 2 one, which mostly consisted of west end luvvies promoting their new shows!
