Hi lads,

Need to sell my much loved Mazda MX5 and was hoping to get an idea of a fair price for private salw.

1.8 petrol, 2010 3.5 series with hard top, 60,000 miles, 4 new tyres last year, new windscreen, bluetooth and hands free stereo, various other after market tweaks (tailpipe, chrome interior, new dash trim). Body work is very good (had a few scratches sprayed) and NCT'd until July.

Any thoughts?

Do a search on donedeal to give yourself and idea of what they are making is the best bet.

5-6k at a push, mk3 values have taken a big dip in the last few years , you 1.8 is not as desirable as the 2.0 with more ump and LSD, your sort of handing in the unloved middle ground between the Mk4 & much desired Mk1 (& increasingly mk2). Non car people looking for a sporty car will prob look for something more modern.
Tyres and windscreen are consumable and wont put extra value on your car
