What was your best pressie this Christmas just gone?

I got some nice things - even though Santa consisted almost entirely of the other half of Chez Lewin.

But members of family did leave things in places that I have had to visit - (duty!) - for us to collect.

Santa brought me my BEST favourite thing - a metal-detector!
Also a steel ruler with inches and centimetres side by side.
    And three books to read!

    I was a very happy Elf. :)

How about you? Get anything nice? What was your favourite thing?

Metal detector, that's class! You must have been on the nice list!

My favourite was a bottle if molecule one. I've been dy6 for it for so long but I would never buy it for myself. Also got a big Christmas jigsaw which I love!

The underpants. They knew my old gear was threadbare.

I am a lazy gifter and always ask what other people want and then just get it for them:o They then do the same, so all my gifts were my favourites:)

I gifted myself a "New to me car" just before Christmas and Im still getting little presents for it:D

    Sounds wonderful!

Do you have an eggnog recipe to drink out of them?

Do you mind me asking where you got them?
Been looking to get them myself but they've always been extortionately priced when I could find them.

My favourite gift this christmas was a surprise from my kids which was a framed drawing of Yoda from Star Wars & Grogu from The Mandalorian done by a local artist, it has on it in the star wars font ' yoda best dad ever' with grogu looking up to Yoda... as a big Star Wars fan I love it & have it hung in my office here.
I love personalised stuff like that.

Nice! If you ever lose your ruler you'll be able to find it easily now!

    BUY eggnog in a carton?
    Would be really handy except...
I've never seen it for sale in Ireland :(

In fact I've never even seen it at all, much less tasted it.
    Keen to try though!

Ah, I bet it is. Hadn't thought of Advocaaat for quite a few years - I wonder is it still around?

It would be very Christmassy itself, too

Socks, I have been asking for them for yonks. Also got a lovely jumper and this winter has been colder than usual so it has gotten more use than expected.
