Help! Hate being a solicitor

    Hi

I’ve been a solicitor for 10 years and have worked in two top tier law firms. On paper, I’ve a very good legal background. But I absolutely hate my job. I feel so unmotivated and trapped. I so desperately want to break away , I just don’t know how. I’d love to work in the people profession but I am getting no where, as I’ve no practical experience. I’d love to do a masters in human resource management but I am afraid that I’ll still struggle to get a job after due to the lack of experience. Has anyone been able to make the transition? Would I have to start at the lowest level in HR or would it be possible to obtain a more mid level or senior role based on my skills as a solicitor and study of employment law?

Help please. I cannot stress how much my job is making me miserable.
