another Laptop recommendations request

I'm seeking advice on what laptop to buy.
Firstly I'm a little bit clueless about specifications.
I aim to develop a reasonably professional webinar course (9 sessions) to share knowledge (health professional) via Teachable.com
I have most of the content but will need to develop the webinar presentations, videos and edit these etc.
I have an apple laptop at home but dont really like using it for anything other than web browser. I'm much more comfortable on a windows PC or laptop so this is what I'm looking for.
I want something reliable with decent to fast speed.. I don't want a large clunky laptop (no number keys on the right hand side).
I will be editing images (basic stuff) and some video editing so specifications to suit.

these are my main requirements, possible I will use zoom too.

for recording the webinars I will probably need other equipment such as a decent camera / iPhone and mic and stand and lighting maybe.. but just seeking recommendations on suitable laptop first..

preference to not spend too much.. I'm not sure what is a realistic budget for above needs..

for comfortable video editing you will need a powerful laptop, enough ram and a colour-accurate screen of decent size to know what the video really looks like.

This solidly-built (metal chassis) and powerful laptop should cover you. Still easily portable at 1.7kg

Thanks for recommending the above. Can I be rude and request a recommendation for something in a lower price range ? maybe 500-600euro. I appreciate the specs will be lower too.. ideally can buy in irish retailer

i may have overstated my needs in the original post.. I need to prepare a good quality powerpoint or similar type presentations with me doing voice over and the odd piece of me speaking to camera added into it. and upload these to Teachable.com

that looks great.. i nearly bought it but in the reviews lots of people complain about the position of the webcam being down at the keys and giving an up the nose view..

if you have an alternative option up your sleeve I'd appreciate it..

not a bad price if Argos actually have it in stock?

the build quality is not as good as the matebook / magicbook and I don't know if the thermals are either (lets the cpu run to full potential)

re webcams - the webcams that come built into laptops are pretty much all universally rubbish so if you're going to be using it a lot get an external usb one with autofocus, wide angle, full hd, brighter lens

Do you recommend I buy the Norton Internet security for 30euro?


I might pick up the Microsoft 365 personal for 68euro too..

no need for Norton.

the built-in windows defender is up to the job

if you just need office and not the online collab aspects of 365 cheaper to buy a license key for the full product on ebay -
or buy that office 365 there also as cheaper

that webcam is a bit expensive and bulky

lets hope it's delivered soon..
