If I were to add a side door to a semi detached house, would I need planning?
It wouldn't be seen from the front of the house.

    Any more info?
Side door to where? The back garden?

    Not sure
But - If it is less than 1m from the boundary, it will require planning.

Prob falls into a grey area otherwise. Apply for section 5 declaration to the council to get a definitive answer.
