Just signed up for Siro with pure telecom. Will have an install date next week hopefully. I was just looking up how they install it on the Siro website. My house is circa 1950 and the electricity meter in inside my front door. Is this an issue for the installation of Siro?

When they'll call, they'll tell you. Is there wire underground currently? Is there a duct?

Everything looks to be overground. Wire is coming through the wall of the house above the front door.

The siro wire will come in overhead and afaik doesn't need to go to the meter box but rather enter the house where you wish. Pick a good spot for the ONT that's not too far from the wire and they should install it there. You need a plug on the inside

    Thanks, should be fine so.

I really need this to work to end years of issues with the old copper cables.

be prepared though, the install crew wioll prob come out, say they can't pull the cable through the duct (as there isn't a duct) and tell you ESB crew must come out with the wire. So you may be waiting beyond the initial date
