Tower records import tax US

Hi All, Wonder if I could get some advice.
I ordered 2 x Vinyl from what I thought was my local independent online Tower records when in fact it was stateside.
However I ordered 2 Vinyls at USD19. 99 each total USD39. 98 with shipping costs came to a total of USD67 or Eur58 approx

Delivery(DHL) arrived today which I missed as I wasn't home and they left an invoice of payment for inbound charges for an additional Eur35

Total for this whole order is just shy of Eur90.

The order was for 2 items at USD39.98 or Eur35 originally.

The same Vinyls I could have bought slightly more expensive but cheaper delivery from Germany which balanced out.

What options do I have as this surely could have been advised from Tower records end in the US before shipment was released?

Can I reject the parcel and have it sent back by DHL and claim a refund as I just don't think I can justify Eur90 for 2 Vinyls that are handy enough to get elsewhere as it is?

    Thanks in advance.

Don’t accept the delivery, ask for a refund, and order from Germany.
