Carrying capital allowances and pension contribution relief forward

When there is no advantage in claiming relief on pension contributions or capital allowances in a particular year are they frozen for future use?

Scenario: say there is no tax liability with or without claiming capital allowances or making a contribution for three years in a row.

In the fourth year it is worth claiming in order to reduce income tax liability.

Can the previous three years' unused reliefs be claimed in one go or just one unused years' reliefs?

Also do they have an expiry date?

    TIA
