I'm looking at the game, and Adamson as the ref and wondering if the laws are too complex. Not too long ago you had a Connacht player at the bottom of a ruck, pick the ball up, and ref says nothing. You have a bulls player 'protecting the ball' in a tackle situation on their knees, and nothing. Blade gets an arm to the neck when scoring, and nothing. How do we as rugby fans explain this to casual fans?

Connacht have a remarkable ability to shoot themselves in the foot. Clawed their way back into the game then gave away a stupid penalty almost immediately upon restart.
