Almost certain that Murphy was having his balls squeezed there going by his reaction but it’s not picked up on camera and his reaction is clear to see. Result a 20 minute red card and the Bulls immediately score a try.

Context is obviously something Mike Adamson doesn't understand. That kind of action is completely unacceptable, it's sexual assault, and with low degree of danger agreed with Davidson for the strike from Murphy, there's more than enough mitigation for that to have been a yellow only.

It's infuriating that Bulls have gotten away with that and the outcome is a 20 minute red for the team of the player who gets his genitals grabbed for what is a completely understandable reaction.

Woeful but not unexpected penalty miss from Ioane. Gilbert will be kicking the goals as soon as he’s off the plane I’d say.

A killer after Connacht went through 25+ phases with 14 to earn that penalty.

Connacht have played alright to be honest. Dominated possession even with only 14 for 20 minutes. Did well to only concede 7 points in those 20 minutes. Bulls look very dangerous any time they spin it wide though.

Much better than last week.

Ref is a genuine disgrace though. Upgrading the recommendation of the TMO in a situation where there has been an allegation of basically sexual assault is amongst the worse decisions I've seen in a long time. If a single other Connacht player saw the grab, and Cian was straight to the ref saying it before Murphy was even pleading his case then it should be reported to the gards. No place in the game for that bollix.

Good try but that high tackle needs to be dealt with .

And the ref said a penalty on half way needs to happen after the try is scored but it was a swinging arm to the neck with no mitigation

adamson is a blight on the game. If blade doesn’t raise his arm there to fend the high tackle that’s a serious injury

Infuriating watching this refereeing performance and I'm not even a Connacht supporter. It's not good enough that Adamson is still referring at this level, he simply isn't up to it.
