There might not be any DAB signals where you are.

    https://www.2rn.ie/broadcast/digital-audio-broadcasting-dab/

2rn also operates a Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) multiplex covering the cities of Dublin, Cork and Limerick and areas of counties Kildare, Louth Monaghan and Meath.

You don't say where you are but if you're not too far from the border and can fit an aerial you should be able to pick up loads from the north.

Try enquiring from the BAI. They might refer you to whatever useless committee they've set up to "look into" it for the umpteenth time.

Hopefully the radio also has FM, because there's more to find there.

RTE are due to shutdown their DAB stations.

It was meant to be last spring, but it has been allowed to continue. Will see how long they let it continue.

I'd be bringing it back to the shop tbh. It's an Internet radio you needed here. Or a smart speaker.

This thread is a good example of why rolling out dab to every parish in Ireland was always going to be a waste of time in this internet age, people would be buying dab radios expecting it to pick up the BBC and Z100 in Dingle

If you have a smartphone or tablet you can use Bluetooth to connect to your radio and use an app like TuneIn, RadioGarden etc to access stations

It must have hundreds of stations from around the world on it, including quite a few Irish ones.

The garden radio one or tunein

If that's a question in response to my post (hard to tell without a question mark or quote!), I meant Radio Garden - that's why I highlighted it in Bold!

100s? RadioGarden lists 82 in Dublin alone!
TuneIn is good but isn’t really taking new stations
Incidentally I don’t think Radiogarden has FM104 in its directory, not the conventional feed anyway

they would only expect to get such stations if nobody bothered to make it clear that it wouldn't be the case, which wouldn't happen.
internet radio is great, i have been an online only listener since 2006, but the technology is not scalable meaning higher listeners = higher costs and more server capacity, so that would have to be addressed before it could be in any way a serious contributer, especially one which would be able to get us out of modernising terestrial radio.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

when you use the word " or " that means one or the other , so yes it was a question,
    Thanks your input,
