Deactivated cruise control (Fluence)

    Hey everyone,

Hope you all had a nice Christmas.

I’m getting rid of a 141 fluence soon (next January) but just noticed the cruise control is kaput. All other electrics are working but I think I must have hit something or other but the all steering wheel buttons are unresponsive. All others are fine. Don’t really care as I’m getting rid of it but would like to have one less issue with it might be good for reselling in the garage.

I was having problems popping the bonnet to put in water and there’s a box in the passengers side that somehow came off and it looked electrical (I’m clearly very knowledgable about cars lol).

Not a major issue but would like to see if I can sort it easily myself if I can.

    TIA!

That's my theory gone out the window.

Don't think i'd bother pursuing it tbh if you are loking at trading it in.

I can live without it. Handy for motorways but rarely have it on. Least the bonnet popped open at least it’s safe to drive now that I can clean the windscreen lol

    Thanks for the advice!

depending on mileage, maybe clockwork spring connector on steering column, afaik most vehicles would have something similar to this
