Grand to have the NFL on a Christmas night and then three games Saturday. Its going to be a mess of a Christmas so thankfully we have some NFL to distract us.

Given the state of the 49ers I need a distraction from the distraction.

yup. One of the things I was worried about was going down to the in-laws and not getting to see the games, but now this may not happen, so I reckon that's me sorted with NFL for Christmas.

Crazy situation for the Lions game on Saturday. A load of coaches are on the Covid list due to being a close contact of someone who tested positive.

This has resulted in the HC, OC, DC and all the rest of defensive staff unable to coach against the Buccs, with the NFL having denied a request to have the game rescheduled to Sunday, in which case they would have been grand.

For Saturday the new HC is WR coach Robert Prince. Calling the offence is QB coach Sean Ryan & calling the defence is head coach assistant Evan Rothstein. Those assistants have never called game before.

Can't help but suspect that if it was certain other teams accommodations would have been made.

Terry is not all there and hasn't been for a while, and it flummoxes me that he's still warning a crust on Fox and on reality TV.

The Bucs game looks over. 2 TDs from 2 drives and Chase Daniel in for Stafford.

It could get ugly alright. Two TDs and the second Mike Evans one was a bit too easy.

Bucks with a third TD. 20 -0 and it’s still the first half. The game last night wasn’t entertaining because the vikings defence(being generous using that word) was the utter pits.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,546 ✭✭✭Masked Man

In fairness, the Vikings started better than the Lions yesterday.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,698 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

TD bucs. Likely 27-0 with five minutes left in the half. Hopefully the niners and cardinals game will more competitive because on the latest TD Brady had all day to find Chris Godwin.

This is one of the most one-sided games I have seen in years. Detroit have been terrible.

Lions minus Stafford, coaches & half the defensive starters was never going to any good.

Quite hilarious the talking heads on TV making any conclusions on the Buccs & Brady from this game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,546 ✭✭✭Masked Man

Clearly no need to cover Gronk.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,698 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

The first half from the bucs in points was a record and Blaine gabbert is in the game.

Huh, Brady is all hugs and handshakes after this game, guess he isn't worried about covid today. Weird the way that goes.

Hopefully now this one is a bit better. And the 9ers don't let me down. Looking forward to seeing Kittle being back.

Im hoping for a niners win (massive improvement in bears playoff hopes) but it'll be a miracle if Beathard wins to be fair.

Really good drive there, great plays by kittle, ayuk and Wilson, and the little trick play for a yard with jusczyczyczyyk

The browns have been hit by Covid so it looks like baker mayfield might have to throw the ball to himself because several WRs and a TE are close contacts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,004 ✭✭✭✭Realt Dearg Sec

Niners have been really good, especially when you consider the injuries etc. A potentially very strong team this year decimated by injuries, without them the nfc generally was massively weakened.

    Yup.

Athletic just sent through that notification.

Completely and as the top NFC team their schedule was gonna be a nightmare with all those injuries.

He's fine unless it's Foles. He clearly has daddy issues.

I can see why the cardinals went for two but that was a poor throw by Murray.

Robbie Gould misses the extra point so it’s an eight point game with eight minutes left in the game.

49ers kindly missed the Xp to keep it a one score game

Is it just me who saw that coming a mile away? The niners dominated the line on the last Cards drive and stuffed them until they went over the top. They weren't gonna try running up the middle again on 4th. A bootleg was always coming I felt.

Nice play though. Fooled the D.

And now Kyler throws a killer INT.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,698 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    INT for the niners.
