    Hi,

My elderly aunt suffered a fire at her home last week and her supply was disconnected. An electrician certified the property but her power hasnt been connected yet. She is very eager to get back home for Christmas. She is a Bord Gas customer but it seems the ESB does the connection and she cannot manage to contact anyone via the automated phone system (shes in her 80s). Can you advise the process??

    Hi displaceddub,

Sorry to read about your aunt's awful experience - we hope she is doing ok.

We must just advise that Electric Ireland now operates separately to ESB Networks - we look after billing. ESB Networks can be contacted on Facebook, Twitter and freephone 1800 372 757.

    Kind regards,
    Una
