    I've had bother with those tilting sash windows,
    people were using the tilt function to open for ventilation and they can skew.
    After one got stuck, I disabled the tilt function on all the windows,
    well, I just removed the locking buttons and put them in a drawer until
    I needed to clean the windows, or just got the ladders out.
    Also with the tilting windows you lose the internal staff bead and
    an extra seal.
    Given the choice again I would not go for the tilting ones.
