I want to move my shed in my garden and move the kerosene tank and burner in the back garden. If I move it to where I want, they'll go to about 5m away from where it is now. Does anyone have any advice on how to do it and how much it'd cost for a plumber?

Build the base in the new spot. Make sure the tank is fully supported not just a few lintels throw across. Get a couple of pals. Get your local oil supplier out. They will empty the tank. You and your pals disconnect the now empty tank and move it to the new location. Get the oil company to come back and refill. Get a local plumber out to reconnect ( if you aren't confident yourself). You will alos prob have to extend the existing fuel line

I did a thread on my mostly DIY tank move.

In my case I "only" built the base, the local oil guy came with lintels, we moved the tank together, then he replumbed, then I made the cover.

The base was a big job as it was on a slope and I had to dig out a hedge and go down a couple of feet to put in enough compacted 804 to support the reinforced concrete slab according to the regs.
