Hows it going, I'm thinking of getting a new gun which is a bit on the pricey side (for me anyway) I do alot of rough shooting & wildfowling does anyone have any (extra) method of protecting the gun from damage from scratching etc? Cheers

You can buy tape, both plastic and cloth based, that wraps around the barrels and stock and protects from scratches, damp etc. My fear with these, and why i stopped using them is they draw in moisture and if left on the gun can do more harm than good.

Rows Grower done a nice write up on stuff he bought and used and it seems the business.

Buy something with a synthetic stock, and maybe cerakote the barrel/ barrels. Offers some protection
