Brexit- Purchases made before 31st of Dec but delivered after

    Quick one. Does anyone know if customs apply to items that are purchased before the 31st of December but are shipped shortly after in the new year?

    I assume that because the item was purchased before the deadline that customs wouldn't be applicable.

    Open to correction

    Anything that arrives to the state after the 1st of January is liable the way things stand.
