Emergency Tax & Tax Credit Certificate

    Anyone know if emergency tax no longer comes into play when an employee recieves their Tax Credit Certificate from Revenue?

    Did you receive a 2021 Tax Credit Certificate? For the remainder of this year, your employer may have already ran payroll until the end of the month and the new cert wouldn’t come into play until January. Revenue have a cut off point for issuing certs for the current year so you may be on emergency tax or week 1 until January dependent on the situation.
