    There's the difference

    Munster 2 visits to the 22 = 0 tries

    Clermont 4 visits to the 22 = 4 tries

Munster look a side who have given up before a ball was kicked.

    That's a cracking score

    That was nice

    Great Munster try!

Hopefully gets the conversion and then we are at a crossroads again.

The main aim in this game is stay as close as possible to Clermont for as long as possible as they seem to be very lazy in their dicipline.

First phase attack is seriously impressive

JJ DDA and Haley showing up big time so far. Whycherely can't be faulted for lack of effort.

That should be a 5 metre scrum, if its not clear look harder you spanner.

A number of times now Murray has passed the ball off to a player in his own.

Id take this scorline at half time, we have alot of work to do but not completly out of the game.

That opening 20 minutes was as bad as we have been for a long time

    Yeah agree.
I was almost pleased that they got their bonus point so early. French complacency almost inevitable to some extent after that.

Right now would be well chuffed with a LBP.

Funny though, as this season goes on I don't fear us doing badly in an open type of game as I would have in recent years.
Maybe that's what the 2nd half will be?

We kick off in the second, hopefully we can get the next score to get back into it.

JJ’s goal kicking has been excellent.

A lot of similarities to our game with them in 2008.

I think we need atleast a point to be confident of a place in the QF, we would still need favors to get through I feel but leaving here would 0 would mean we need ALOT of favors.

Earls having a game to forget

For such a talented squad of players Munster are far too predictable and at this stage there is a huge question mark over the coaching ticket.

Clermont have done their homework but when even the restart is under this much pressure you wonder why it's so easy for Clermont.

The one saving grace is Clermont's pack looked to be fairly blowing the last ten minutes. If Munster can get the first score I think they can close it out the final quarter.

Could have been yellow for earls there.

Why the **** are we still going for 3, we are still 2 scores behind and letting Clermont completly off the hook.

Would be nice to see Ireland or an Irish team to do as much homework on the opposition as they do on us...

    That is just atrocious.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

And just like the first half, score 3 but instantly make a huge mistake with the kickoff which gifts Clermont possesion in the Munster 22...

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

Its hard enough to beat this Clermont team without us consistently shooting ourselves in the foot.

Fair ****ing play Munster, great scrum!!!

Its kind of sad that im not even surprised at that...

Example 1 on how to completly destroy any momentum you created.
