Rough cost of quarter panel respray?

So I scraped up against a bollard and ended up scratching the quarter panel of my 2014 golf in carbon steel grey metallic.
Was dented initially but got dent man to push the dent out it’s about a 95% perfect finish but still has a slight crease in it.
Took it to 2 local paint shops and neither would give me a price for fixing it and that they were too busy in any case to do it until new year.
There’s a 2-3 mm scrape just at edge of rear door but rear bumper is ok.
Also have tried polishing with D-A and a rubbing compound but the scratches are too deep to make any improvements with that...
Does anyone know how much this would be to get properly fixed?

I'd say €300-€500 for that. Where are you based?

Your idea of "properly fixed" may be different to someone elses...

As the last poster said, I would expect €500 ish for what I would consider to be a proper job

That looks like minor damage. It wouldn't be worth your while getting a full re-paint job on that, you'd be throwing away €500.

If it bothers you get it polished out with cutting paste.

    200 to 300 from experience.

The *TRADE Price is usually €250 per panel

If I could get it for €300 I’d be happy, I would imagine back door would need blowing in also too however.

Seeing as he's already tried that and it didn't work he's looking at a spray job.

I'd echo the last few posts, €500 would be very expensive for one panel and blowing in the door, €300ish would be the going price.

I’d have said closer to €1000 but there you go.

Hence I’m not keen on leaving the car to be painted up not knowing how much it’s gonna be potentially could be anything from €250-€1000, I dunno why panel beaters can’t just give a rough price out... I might just leave it

Panel beaters do give prices, you show them the job and they give a price. They do the job and you pay them. That's how it has always worked for me.

You should be able to get that sorted for €300 at most imo.
A polish lad near me does that sort of work, he's not greedy and does a good job.

I’ve tried 2 panel beaters and neither will give me a price or even an approximate price.
