Valve issue on 2010 VW Passat wheels / tyres

Background: I've had consistent issues with my tyres over the past year. The issue in most cases appears to be the tyre valve. Have replaced 4-5 valves (multiple times in some wheels). The car is a 2010 VW Passat with 235/45/17 Kumho tyres.

Am I just being unlucky? The tyre shop I typically use have cleaned the alloys / where the valve goes but still having issues regularly. I've also had my local VW main dealer look at them when the car was in for a service.

Looking for advice on what I should do next…

Post a picture of the wheels if you can.

Did some more digging online and it's fairly common. Seems to be a case of ensuring there is nothing causing a poor seal (cleaning / sanding / use of bead sealer). Worst case the alloy is leaking air.

In my case it just seems to be the area around the valve so hopefully some diligent tyre outlet will be able to work their magic and sort them out. :)
