Rising Damp in metal shed

I recently bought an insulated metal shed with double doors.
It looks very well and we intend to use it as an office and Utility room.
I had started putting in kitchen units and had further insulation and slabbed the walls with ply.

However lots of damp is coming up on all of the edges of the floor. Where the walls meet the floor.
I pointed out to our builder who put the base in... He didn't leave enough DPC around the base to tie it in properly to the walls of the shed as per the instructions we were given an do passed onto him.

In places I can see a sizeable gap from the outside, underneath the walls.
In places I can see water pooling. In particular places these are usually the first spots for water to enter after some rain.

Inside cement was used to fill in the floor to the walls.
My builder was doing other work on our house. This is why we got him to do this simple job.
Can anyone suggest a way of preventing water coming in underneath the steel walls?

I'm happy enough to do this myself, but am cautious of doing something wrong to have to undo further work.
It is certainly easier to do a job right the first time.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm assuming from your post that you don't want to involve the builder.

If the edges of the dpc are still visible you could try to enlarge it to above floor level with gorilla patch tape which sticks really well.

Worst case you may have to chip back concrete to get to dpc (but will be worth it in the end).

    Pics would help.

Painting on a DPC would be far more effective than any gorilla tape. Its messy though

I rang the builder a talked to him once had a chat about it. He said he would call to the house and have a look to asses options.
He hasn't called and hasn't answered the phone since.

Its eaiser to to the job correctly the first time. To be honest I don't trust the builder to spend the time neccessary to do a delicate job of fixing it properly.

    Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

I have started putting tech 7 under one side wall of the shed yesterday. I'm going to wait some time to see what it has achieved.
Im still thinking damp will rise through the concrete.
Would that tape work near the edges ( some won't be seen) if placed on top of cement?
Or is there any paint products that can seal concrete?

Always an option to take out the cement inside, as a last resort.

As before, tape is rubbish, Liquid DPM would be more suitable.
