Noisy refilling on ball-cock heater water tank

    Hi!
My immersion heater tank is making a lot of noise when refilling. It sounds like the water comes with too much pressure/air.

Does that look like something I could fix myself (I thought about trying to fit a small hose on the nozzle) or do I need a plumber?

Also, the ~60cm tank lid is a bit warped and doesn't fit tightly, so I guess this also doesn't help with the sound. I couldn't find a replacement, but I'm thinking about getting a big pan lid or something like that..

    Thanks!
