Paisley Park Returns

Finally seeing some proper jumps racing over the coming few days. Will be interesting to see is Paisley Park back to anywhere near his best. My heart says 7/2 is a gift and to lump on, but that last run at Cheltenham was so bad you could not believe it. Think I will have to resist the temptation, they so rarely come back after some thing like heart trouble...

Southwell 11:35 - Red Stripes not the force of old, but well down in the ratings here, competes in only a 6 runner race. Carries bottom weight, is a multiple course and distance winner, think it goes closer than the odds of 18/1 suggest.

Looked at the Long Distance Hurdle and I can't understand the price of Sam Spinner. I think he's a much better horse over hurdles and although there's some unexposed types running SS is getting weight and should be stripped fitter after running in the Charlie Hall. 25/1 is huge

I'm on Thyme Hill for the stayers at Cheltenham so hopefully goes well today. Thought he was a bit unlucky in the AB, may not have won but ran a cracker and think that race was a top class race.

    Very pleased with that

Not a bad effort from Paisley, he's no back number yet.

I hope someone puts up a silly price. He'll be overturning that in march.

Wouldn’t be so certain Aidan. That Albert Bartlett looks a decent enough race and what’s to say Thyme Hill won’t improve?

I dunno, Thyme Hill was the one that looked like it still had a little extra left at the end there. Neither horse run since Cheltenham and that was a fairly run race.

That was a serious performance by Thyme Hill. Still has to improve 1l past Fury Road tough. ;)

At least they don’t have Monkfish or Latest Exhibition to worry about

Thought the start was poor, but yes ended up being a fairly run race

McFabulous doesn't look like he wants 3 miles at Cheltenham anyway, regardless of what Nicholls says, disappointing enough. Lovely from Thyme Hill, spud form looking solid.

Paisley absolutely the horse to take out of the race.

'fairly run' they crawled for a mile and a half. The race was run in 6 sec slower than the handicap run over the same distance a half an hour later, it was a farce of a race similar to when Penhill won the big one.

Paisley was giving 3lbs in a race that turned into a sprint. Yes Thyme Hill is also entitled to improve but Paisley the one to take from today for me. If they both get there safe and sound it promises to be a cracker, in a true run 3m test Paisley for me the more likely winner. Hopefully he came out of today ok, haven't heard anything from Lavelle. Aidan Coleman couldn't hide his delight afterwards.
